Celebrating 75 Years of Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES)The Multnomah County ARES group consists of federally licensed amateur radio operators who are trained in emergency communications and have a strong desire to serve our community whenever the need arises. Hams from throughout the county, who have an interest in community service and emergency communications, are strongly encouraged to get involved. The Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) is a field organization of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).

Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. on the 146.840+ Portland Amateur Radio Club (PARC) repeater our weekly net is held. It  is a directed net and all are welcome.

Our leadership team meets at 6:00 p.m., one hour before our monthly meetings on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are at the Portland Fire & Rescue Training Center, 4800 NE 122nd Avenue Portland, OR 97230.
